Get Involved: Scientists and Engineers

The Naval Service employs thousands of scientists and engineers who are playing an increasingly important role in mentoring future scientists and engineers. They are experts in their fields and have years of relevant work experience to share with others.

Through STEM2Stern, we are tapping into this national technical resource by calling on these scientists and engineers to serve their communities as technical mentors and to showcase the exciting and important research conducted in their labs. We hope this positive interaction will inspire the next generation of students to consider their many options when making decisions about their future careers.
